After Five performs Jazz Standards to accommodate your needs.
Small enough for intimate small gatherings or anniversary parties, restaurants, wedding cocktail hours, rehearsal dinners and events. After Five is available as a 1 to 8-piece Jazz group with Sinatra Style Vocalist

The mission of After Five is to continue through performance to entertain, enrich, educate as well as create awareness of this music and to carry the Jazz Torch into the future so this art form is not left behind, forgotten or it’s last note has been played.

Bernie Maloney grew up on Long Island New York and at a young age started playing saxophone in local big bands and eventually found a home in smaller groups. Through College he then studied briefly with Al Gallodoro, Bobby Dransite and Roe Colletta on flute. He relocated to Tamp Bay in 1991, and quickly began playing with various groups, founded the Bernie Maloney Quartet (BMQ), played Bari Sax for several years in the Sinatra Rat Pack Tribute Band, and co-managed the Cigar City Big Band. After forming the After Five Big Band Bernie downsized the band to form the current After Five Jazz group.
Bernie is an endorser for Bari Woodwinds and plays Bari Woodwinds mouthpieces and reeds exclusively.

Jazz guitarist Andy DePasquale (Andy D) grew up immersed in the New York City jazz scene of the 70’s and 80’s. He started his pursuit of the music as a teenager, under the guidance of the legendary Chuck Wayne. Ultimately, he became a disciple of Philadelphia’s great guitar virtuoso Jimmy Bruno, studying with him for number of years. During that time, he recorded two CDs and played numerous gigs around the NY/NJ area. He relocated to Tampa Bay in 2012, and has been part of the jazz scene here ever since. He has most recently been appearing with the jazz group After Five.
